Life saver!! After fishing a bunch of things out of the toilet (including my phone) and having to remove the toilet to retrieve items from the toilet we decided this was a must. It has worked wonderfully! It isn't inconvenient to use and I can use it with one hand and it totally stops my toddler from flushing things down. We got a toilet lid lock as well but older siblings tend to forget to lower the lid. This is a safety net. Very grateful it works so well and is easy to use.

This is one that works very well - to stop kids flushing the toilet and have to call the plumber. The issue with toilet lid lock kind of deterrent is that sometimes you really need to go and it is very inconvenient to unlock at that moment. This flush lock is the answer - one can still relieve oneself without having to fumble to unlock the lid lock. Also this can be operated by one hand. Update 9/14: I bought a 3rd one! See pics all of the installations in my toilets.

Everyone with toddlers should have these. I have a daycare and allow the kids to use the bathroom alone but with door open. Before buying this item I had a child who flushed a ninja turtle figurine and flooded the whole bathroom. I looked into actual seat locks, but that would mean a child running to the toilet would proby pee their pants waiting for me to unlock it. With this gadget the kids can still use the toilet but I monitor the flushing part. Best purchase ever
Our kid has Autism and likes to flush everything, and I mean everything, down the toilet. This has saved us from having to call the plumber every few days to get the pipes cleared again and get whatever out. This is the best purchase we've made in a while for keeping our kid out of trouble. Thank you for this!
Buy this before your kid discovers the toilet!!!!!!!! This would have saved me from having the plumber come out ($200) and them telling me I need a new toilet... all because of 1 little hotwheel car. This makes it so my son can't flush his toys, but he can still go potty which is important while I'm potty training this 2yr old.

A++++ I just want to cry when I think about the struggles we have had with completely normal looking toilets but a trap full of something that ruins the toilet forever. This device has saved us so much grief. Our 8 year old autistic child has ruined 2 toilets, and after about $200 we've finally found this device and have installed it on all our 4 toilets. I recommend this to anyone that is in this unique situation and anyone that had young children. Well designed and much kudos to the inventors. thank you thank you
My autistic son keeps flushing the toilet. I was worried that the item would not adhere properly but it did and it is on the side of the toilet securely. It's very easy to use for the rest of the family and my autistic son hasn't even messed with it. I'm very thankful for this product!

After having to replace our toilet because our 2yo son flushed a toy that was not going to budge we purchased this. He is potty trained so I still need him to have access to the toilet just not to be able to flush things. It took seconds to instal and works great.
Works great. My 3 yr old cost us several hundreds of dollars for fixing toilet clogs. He threw things in that were too big to flush, then flushed them. Only 1 toilet in our house, used the 2nd one at his nursery school.
I purchased this product since my two-year-old loves to flush the toilet more than necessary. It is easy for adults to use, and has successfully stopped my toddler from overflushing the toilet.
This works so much better than the lid locks. Our toddler was flushing toy cars, and he could still lift the lid enough to get something in. The handle locks worked because he can't flush and even if he dropped them in the toilet, we could remove them. Another drawback with lid lock is you have to remember to lock the toilet each time

My cat figured out how to flush the toilet! Searched online to find something to prevent her from increasing my water bill( I was using a wedged in shoe against the wall and toilet). Found thus little device and it works great. Gave to show guests how to use it but it is very simple to mount and use. The things we do for our pets!
Purchased it because we don’t let our grandparents or parents live in nursing homes, and my grandma is senile and flushes so many times in a day that it tripled the water bill. Since we installed this it has been great not worrying about water waste. Great product, may buy another for the other bathroom.

Bought this to deter my cat from flushing the toilet repeatedly. Definitely works and it isn't too inconvenient for us humans. Easy to follow installation directions, it's been a few weeks of use now and it's still stuck on well.

If you have cats that have learned how to flush the toilet in hopes of waking you up to be fed, this product is for you! I have not been woken up by the toilet flushing in the middle of the night in weeks.

My mom has Alzheimer's disease and this is the only way I can tell if she moved her bowels or not. A person can get impacted in as little as three days if they don't move their bowels. This is very catastrophic for someone with Alzheimer's since the discomfort will increase their likelihood of confusion and falling.

Perfectly unobtrusive toilet lock! A much better solutions than the other options that fit over the lid/bowl.
